Magnificent KIJ

Author: simoncorrigan | Date: 04-08-2009

Our first thought on the magnificent KIJ is on how many people are here! Everybody is so friendly and we all get on. The activities are amazing; our favourites are the go-karts and inflatables. We have made so many friends, we've had a real laugh! Also, since we got here, we have started badge collecting, which we'd never done before! We loved the day out when we went to London, it was so much fun in the science museum. This week has involved lots of teamwork and sticking together. We love KIJ!

On Thursday we arrived at the Kent international jamboree, We started putting up our tents and it took a long time. Then we explored after that we had dinner, but cant remember what it was.

Chatham dockyard was fun we went around on the land train and had some chips. Then we went on the ships including a submarine and a replicate of a pirate ship. Then we had a tour about the world war 2 bomb shelters and a rope tour before finishing in the gift shop

So far on this jamboree I have really enjoyed myself. Also I have done a huge selection of games and activities. I hope I can come to more Jamborees in the future.
