Apologies!!Author: Jimbo | Date: 03-08-2009 howdy partners!! Jimbo here, hope you have not forgotten me. Can I please send out my sincerest apologies. After working so hard with the team over the last few days I was a little bit tired, so I was allowed to have the day off. But, today I am back to work and having a great time with the team. We have been doing some very 'interesting singing and filming' this morning but I am afraid this is top secret. So watch this space!! Only a quick one to say sorry but I shall be back later with the full update of todays events. I am currently sitting on the front desk so if you are watching the live webcam then send me a wave! Bye guys. Happy Birthday Scouts!( and Emma)!!Author: Jimbo | Date: 01-08-2009 Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday dear scouts and emma and everyone who has a birthday, Happy Birthday to you!!! Morning peeps First blog of the day and first blog of the month. As most of you good scouts should know the 1st August is Scoutings birthday, and today we have reached the grand old age of 102. Wow!! We are looking great, I haven't seen to many wrinkles on my travels around the site, hehe!! But, as well as that it is my owners birthday today and she is 20. I have got a challenge for you all, if you are ready to accept. I want to see how many different languages I can learn in order to say happy Birthday! This morning has been great. I have been to the nationalites subcamp today as they have been having their subcamp day. Each contingent from the subcamp ran an activity based on where they are from. I had my face painted by some guides and had a go at sweedish wellie throwing, was rather good fun. Right bye for now and I will talk to you later about the rest of my day. Bye. Bonjour!!Author: Jimbo | Date: 31-07-2009 Bonjour!! mes amies, Wow! what a night we had last night here at KIJ. The jamboree was officially opened with an amazing opening ceremony; everyone was there. There were scouts from Nigeria, France, Germany, Ireland and Malta to name but a few. We had all the flags from the countries who were represented, it was nice to see how international friends from all over the world can come together and have fun for a week of fun and friends. Not only were we treated to some fantastic dancing but we had a huge party afterwards with Dj Nev who played some cracking tunes. Well today has been another busy day in the office, but today I was really lucky. Emma let me help her with their work so I have been filming and talking on the intercom. I felt really important hehe. But, the best bit about today was that they even gave me my very own necker so now I feel like part of the crew. It's really cool and Maddie gave me a friendship knot which now means shes my friend. I still havent met any cuddly friends so if you are around please come and find me as it would be great to meet you. The team have set me up with my very own photo gallery now so you can check out all the things I have been up to. Right got to go. Friends to make. Auf Wiedersehn!! | ![]() |
