Having a roof over my head... - 12-08-2009...is very strangeee after two and a half weeks of being in tents (Duke of Edinburgh and KIJ) Hey everyonee, Becky here, blogging from home *waves* Na na na na na...SPACE PIRATES There is now no-one at KIJ, everyone is home again or off on other trips =D I was so sad to leave KIJ as it was an amazing week and a bit, one which I will never forget, so THANK YOU to everyone that was there and helped to make it such a fab week for everyone that was involved. I drove home on Friday, spending quite a long time on the M25 on my way back, oh well clutch control practice! haha, I brought my friend back with me and we raved in the car on the journey home with carrots and crackers =D Once we arrived home I dropped her and all her stuff off to her house and drove the last couple of mins to my house, where I found my dad and sister. My sister was one of the many people that came home with KIJ flu, she has pretty much recovered now and I hope everyone else has too! The day after I got back from KIJ I had to go to work, this was good because it meant that I got back into routine, but bad because it meant that I didnt have time to catch up on all the sleep I've lost over the past couple of weeks, I've caught up now (several mornings have passed me by) and am now wondering how its been a week since the doughnut party for Si! I wanna go back to KIJ! I miss the Media Team, I miss my guides, I miss the whole jamboree! Oh well only 4 years until the next KIJ! Media Team Reunion anyone? This is Becky, over and out =] xXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXx Author: Becky GoodingCommentsmore blog posts... | ![]() |
The doughnut party was brilliant! I've been going through all the photos for the participant DVD - I can always tell yours Becky by the funky angles used! Thank-you again for everything you did at KIJ!!!
