Sub Camp Days

Please see your Sub Camp pages and look out for Sub Camp emails for more information. Currently a great day is planned offering you the opportunity to meet everyone in your Sub Camp through organised sessions and fun games that will culminate in an evening show case on the central arena stage.

In addition each Sub Camp is planning an evening around the jamboree camp fire.

Evenings

There will be dedicated Scout and Explorer evening zones offering age related entertainment.

Each evening there will be shows and entertainment delivered from the central arena stage.

We also have an adult hub for leaders who wish to relax and make friends and to enjoy their own nightly entertainment.

It’s A Knockout

Its wacky, its wet, its wild – the hit TV show of the 70’s and 80’s comes to life at KIJ09. This proven Jamboree hit with KIJ participants once again will deliver a fun packed day full of crazy games that will have you laughing your socks off!

Activity Days

Two days on site offering a range of experiences that we hope will stimulate all the senses.

We hope at KIJ to offer something for everyone. There will be high energy activities, craft work, walk in discovery workshops, areas to sit and relax, sit down activities, active games, skill or mind based activities and of course the opportunity to meet, greet and join in the activities with participants from around the world.

Some activities will be directed towards the lower age range whilst others have been designed specifically for the older participants. From the list below we have starred those activities that may be restricted in part or whole to the 14+ age range.

We are offering the opportunity for the 14+ age range to experience the Kent Scouts Microlight. Please see the separate page explaining this unique opportunity in more detail and the additional information required for those who wish to book a flight.
